Even shows I may never get to. SyFy is my favorite fare, "Spy Fy" (the Bondy School of MAD Scientists and Death Rays) too. And you cover them all so well.
After studying our favorite spaced out fare (Voyage, Irwin Allen and Gerry Anderson are big attractions for me) in various publications I'm under the possible impression here that the Writers aren't the "guilty parties " here. Interviews in various US and UK publications seem to suggest that the writers "got the order" and wrote accordingly. It's possible then that the ultimate delivery came from The Top. But now I'm hearing that Ol' Irwin himself didn't "want a monster show" as much and was disappointed with the lowered budgets. He still always "gets the blame though". This may point the finger at the suspect you just named: The Network (?)Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01937451421492547537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5833699981210036110.post-60891923829346986952018-04-22T09:36:22.090-07:002018-04-22T09:36:22.090-07:00This was on quite a lot in the UK in the 70s and 8...This was on quite a lot in the UK in the 70s and 80s, and I do remember watching it fairly regularly - I definitely remember the one with the Nazis! I haven't seen the 3rd season since, although I did see some of the 1st season - I think after reading your blog!

"Basehart took himself quite seriously as an actor and wasn’t especially happy making the series"

To be fair, if you'd worked with Fellini, you'd probably take yourself pretty seriously as an actor loltom j joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13108887693320361796noreply@blogger.com
