He said that initially the Producers had decided that the weaponry should be as 'real' as possible. Unfortunately, it soon became apparent that the swords were so heavy that any fight tended to proceed at a snail's pace. They quickly swapped over to lightweight prop swords, which was less realistic, but allowed the cast to 'do a lot more Errol Flynn-ing!'Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
